Lauren and Matt chose the Osteria in Philadelphia as the intimate setting to celebrate their love. We started the day at the W Hotel, ventured the halls and admired the art installs before making our way over to the greenhouse at Osteria. Osteria – if you haven’t been there before, has incredible ambiance, beautiful details and feels quiet in the center of a busy city. It can host the most intimate of celebrations and create the perfect spot for cozy conversations with a candlelit dinner. A greenhouse wedding setting was the perfect canvas for their day.

Lauren opted for some fun moody colors for their floral palette and it complimented the greenhouse wedding venue so well. Coupled with tons of warm amber glow from the candles strewn along the tables. It was the perfect recipe for a conversational, fun, yet intimate night in center Philly. Lauren and Matt were a dream to work with and trusted the process. Days like these fulfill my creative spirit. I connect so well with fun little venues, spur of the moment decisions, and for some reason – Philadelphia wedding venue’s have my absolute heart. My creative fire just burns so bright in this city and for as long as it’ll have me – i’ll be back.

Incorporating flash throughout the wedding day, not just at night has become one of my favorite ways to make mundane photos, not feel so mundane. It adds a little edge, a bit more spirit and a whole different perspective on otherwise familiar shots. Here are some of my favorites, and trust me – it was so hard to narrow it down!
