I believe in taking things easy. We are only on this planet once, why stress over the little things? I want your wedding day to feel exciting, relaxed, and surrounded with love. Photography shouldn't add to the stress. In fact, I find that through my experience being in the industry, I am able to relieve and streamline your wedding day in the most effective way possible. Having a good vendor team that you trust and admire is KEY to a successful wedding day. That is a fact. I like to think that my experience is beyond just photos but the whole process! By cultivating a relaxed, easy-going environment I am able to bring out the more natural side of you - consequently having more authentic images that feel true to you. 

When I started doing weddings, I thought the more the better. I was SO excited to book another, and another. I found that I felt my experience became less personal, less intentional, and I felt burnt out. I've learned to dial back and have created a selective process in booking clients that I am excited to work with. There is a photographer for everyone, and I feel like the best outcome is booking a photographer that you feel connected to. It would be a disservice to book a client just to book a client. Making sure we are a good fit is key. By taking on less weddings, I can take my time and feel a deeper connection to each client. I can plan intentionally, shoot intentionally and overall be in a deeper mindset to create some magic.

A tiny bit about me. I'm feral for anything cozy and fall related. If it is summer, I'm already onto my fall state of mind. Scary movies, fall decor, and all the spooky happenings. I uno reverse flipped flopped into being a BRIDE recently! Being able to see everything from an actual bridal perspective was a total game changer. Since getting married, we bought + renovated + moved into our first home together. Decorating and cultivating my own little cozy home has been wildly fun - (anthro pls sponsor me!). My husband thought right after moving in it would be a PHENOMENAL time to get a puppy (off of craigslist!!!!) haha. You know how it goes, now I just can't picture my life without the black and white moldy lookin guy and an honorary mention for my chunky chihuahua Lucy. 

I think all of these life happenings made me feel more sentimental, and wanting to really press into that side when it comes to my approach with photography. I'm the queen of nostalgia, I'm always playing old music + and childhood movie favorites. Sprinkling my little nostalgic heart into creative recipe these past few years have made my heart feel so full and has given me a purpose!
